In Montreal, the public is being asked to vote on design of REM trains

On Monday, REM builders unveiled 3 potential designs of the $6.3-billion Réseau express métropolitain trains as an important part of Montreal's history. The public is being asked to collaboratively participate and choose the final design of the future commuter train network, which construction online starts in 2021. The Expo model was inspired by the famous Expo 67 event, and the Mont-Royal model is a tribute to the iconic mountain in the middle of the Montreal city that the REM will pass through.

Interesting train/industrial design; and given it's located in Montreal this will be a part of Canadian history. The best part is that the final design will be via majority citizen votes.
